Learning Spanish Language

A lot of people say that Spanish is pretty easy to learn. The Spanish vocabulary is to a certain extent pretty similar to the English vocabulary. Thus you can say that Spanish also helps to understand English better, as those two languages have the same origin, namely latin. That is why they have quite a lot similarities!

Besides, written Spanish is almost completely phonetic, which means that you don't have to guess how the word is pronounced as you already know how to pronounce the word when you read it. Altough the Spanish grammar seems to be quite complex, the basic grammar is quite easy to learn and therefore, it won't be difficult to start a conversation with the natives, even if you haven't been studying for a long time.

If you can learn Spanish and want to go on studying other foreign languages, it will be easier for you to learn one of the other Latin-based languages, such as French, Italian, Portuguese or Romanian.

In spite of the fact that Spanish is spoken in several different countries, it is quite easy to understand and to communicate with each other as the language spoken in all those countries is more or less uniform. It is true that there are some differences in pronounciation and intonation as well as a number of words that are only used in certain countries, but overall you can say that there is no problem to understand each other! These linguistic differences have probably derived from the different cultural backgrounds of the Spanish speaking countries.
